Kong Wei has over 20 years of experience in the areas of data science, AI, and organizational transformation.
Prior to joining NUS-ISS, he served as an Enterprise Digital Ecosystem and Business leader at Changi Airport Group, where he led data science and spearheaded enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives. Before that, he was the Group Head of Data and Chief Data Scientist at AirAsia Group where he built data capabilities and led digital transformation efforts across the organisation. Earlier in his career, he was part of the pioneering leadership team at Grab, where he established and scaled data science capabilities across Southeast Asia.
Kong Wei began his career in research, holding scientist and engineering roles at Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), SIMTech in planning and operations management. He also conducted R&D at Greenwave Reality Singapore during the start of the big-data analytics era and where he contributed to the development of innovative technologies and data-driven solutions.
